New England Craft Fairs runs a portfolio of Maine-based shows across the year — from summer markets in Wells (June and August) through fall harvest festivals, holiday markets, and year-end closeouts. Most events are held Saturdays and Sundays at community centers and armories across Maine, drawing strong crowds of tourists and locals hunting for handmade work. All shows are wheelchair accessible. The organization has over 40 years of experience promoting regional artisans; many past years have seen sold-out shows, so apply early. Only handcrafted work — no mass-produced goods.
