Alaska State Fair

Held in Palmer each late August through early September, Alaska State Fair is a marquee statewide fair with a large vendor marketplace spanning crafts, non-food goods, and food. The fair seeks non-food vendors first based on product originality, then order of application receipt; food vendors are selected competitively from applications, with emphasis on menu variety, food service experience, and fairgoer appeal. Subleasing is prohibited. New non-food applications roll year-round; new food applications close at year-end. Booth spaces are approximately 10' x 10', mostly covered, on firm dirt or pavement.
