ArtSpring Festival

About

Held annually over Memorial Day weekend, ArtSpring Festival spans Davis and Thomas, WV with the Davis Art Market, free theater, the Art Barn WV Open House, film screenings, studio tours, and live music at local venues. Saturday and Sunday anchor the Davis Art Market from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with local paintings, ceramics, photography, wearable fiber arts, and handcrafted objects. Thomas and Davis represent a quietly remarkable cultural reinvention in Appalachian history: a community of working artists, independent brewers, gallery operators, and craft businesses that draws regional and national audiences. In 2011, Tucker County artists created ArtSpring to connect the public with the area's diverse and talented art communities.
