Augusta Farmers' Market at Mill Park

Held year-round in downtown Augusta's Mill Park, the summer market runs outdoors May through October, with a pavilion offering refuge for vendors and shoppers during hot sunny days and rainy ones. The market is the major farmers market of the capital area. Mix spans fresh vegetables and meats, fresh-baked breads, fruit, spices, flowers, honey, and maple syrup. The market and its members offer Maine Senior FarmShare, WIC and Maine Harvest Bucks, providing more than $10,000 in free fruits and vegetables through Maine Harvest Bucks last year —strong foot traffic from community shoppers and tourists. Applications for summer vendors accepted January–March.
