About
Held in Eagle River each July, Bear Paw Festival is a five-day community event featuring a parade, live entertainment, carnival rides, contests, and a vendor court managed by Arctic Events. The 40th annual festival (2026) draws arts & crafts vendors plus food vendors — food spots are managed separately by the Chamber of Commerce and operate on a grandfathered/lottery system. Organized by the Chugiak-Eagle River Chamber of Commerce.
