Homestead Days is a community celebration of homesteading heritage in Beatrice, Nebraska, organized by the Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce with community partners and volunteers. It began at Homestead National Historical Park as a gathering of craft demonstrators and expanded into the city in 1984. Homestead Days is a family-oriented festival in Beatrice, Nebraska, with food, commercial, art, and craft vendors. Booth spaces are limited and assigned first come, first served, so applying early matters. Organizers work to limit overlap between what vendors sell, which means a distinctive product line strengthens an application. Food vendors must pass inspection by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Dairies and Foods, before operating.
