Bite of Seattle

About

Founded in 1982 by restaurant owner Alan Silverman to revive dining interest during recession, Bite of Seattle is one of Seattle's oldest food festivals. Held at Seattle Center each July, it's voted 'Best Food Festival' in the U.S. in 2016–2017. The event features 300+ food vendors, retail pop-ups, craft beer and wine tastings, and 50+ musical artists. Bite of Seattle functions as a proving ground for emerging chefs and food entrepreneurs—a real-world venue to trial new concepts and reach customers with direct feedback.
