Blessing of the Fleet

About

Held in Darien each April, Blessing of the Fleet is the largest on the East Coast—drawing over 30,000 attendees across the weekend. This celebration of the local shrimping industry features an art show, food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts, live entertainment nightly, a classic car show, and a marine parade. The weekend culminates Sunday with the blessing of shrimpboat captains for the season ahead.
