Branch Mountain Bluegrass Festival

About

Held in Moorefield, Branch Mountain Bluegrass Festival runs four days in mid-July with a full lineup of national, regional, and local bluegrass talent — Larry Cordle, Lonesome River Band, Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike, and 20+ others. The festival opens with a casual "Chicken & Pickin" day, then moves into the main stage lineup. Jam sessions, meet-and-greets with bands, and a lesson tent for learning new techniques round out the experience. Camping welcome.
