Running since 1785, Bristol Fourth of July Celebration is America's oldest continuous July 4th celebration. The festival spans from Flag Day through the 2.5-mile Military, Civic and Firemen's Parade on July 4th, drawing established crowds and multiple events — concerts at Independence Park, fireworks, a Firefighters Muster, and a Fourth of July Ball. Vendors line the walking paths throughout.
