Britt Music & Arts Festival is a non-profit summer performing arts festival held in historic Jacksonville, Oregon. Running since 1963, Britt presents dozens of concerts each summer in a naturally formed amphitheater on the hillside estate of 19th-century photographer Peter Britt. The festival features orchestral music, jazz, blues, folk, bluegrass, world, pop, and country performances. With seating capacity of 2,200, Britt draws tens of thousands of music lovers from across the West. The Britt Festival Orchestra—assembled each summer with musicians from top U.S. orchestras—performs in late July and early August. Britt also hosts educational programs year-round.
