Broad Creek Bash

About

Held in Laurel each August, Broad Creek Bash (formerly Broad Creek Bike and Brew) combines bike rides and a 5K run/walk with a post-event after-party at Janosik Park featuring live music, Dogfish Head beer, and local food trucks. The second annual event draws cyclists on 25 mile, 50 mile, and metric rides through scenic byways and historic attractions including Laurel Heritage Museum, Old Christ Church, and Trap Pond State Park. Half of all proceeds benefit local nonprofits. Food and craft vendors are welcome—the after-party is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with strong foot traffic from both active participants and community attendees.
