Buckhannon Riverfest

About

Running its 10th annual in August, Buckhannon Riverfest is a free festival celebrating the Buckhannon River held at Riverwalk Park. Expect live music, food, kids' activities, speakers, demonstrations, yoga, and an interfaith water blessing ceremony. Organizations and vendors participate free of charge, with co-organization by the Mountain Lakes Preservation Alliance and the Buckhannon River Watershed Association. The event is held in memory of April Pierson Keating, a local advocate for healthier environments and communities.
