Cameron Fishing Festival

Cameron Fishing Festival is a coastal tournament held in Cameron each August, run by the Cameron Lions Club. The event draws anglers competing in offshore and bay divisions across dozens of fish species — from wahoo and tuna to speckled trout and redfish — with separate categories for juniors. A gar fish derby and captain's night kickoff round out the programming. Local food vendors on site.
