Carbondale Mountain Fair

Running since 1971, Carbondale Mountain Fair is a volunteer-run festival held the last full weekend of July in Sopris Park and downtown Carbondale. The 55th edition features 180+ artisans, more than 25 musicians and entertainers across multiple stages, and a wide range of programming — live music spans rock, folk, EDM, funk, jazz, and beyond. Built on values of collaboration, creativity, and inclusion, the fair draws an established, arts-forward crowd in a mountain-town setting.
