About

Held each July in downtown State College and on the Penn State University Park campus, the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts is among the top-ranked juried art fairs in the country. Drawing 125,000+ visitors annually the week after Independence Day, it's the economic anchor for State College's summer and one of Penn State's biggest non-football alumni weekends. The Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition showcases artists working across ceramics, wood, jewelry, and other media — a juried selection of independent artist-entrepreneurs from across the country. Expect strong foot traffic, established audiences, and a reputation that draws serious art buyers.
