Running since 2007, Chama Valley Art Festival & Studio Tour is a free, two-day celebration held each Labor Day Weekend in downtown Chama, bringing together 60+ artists and artisans from northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. The festival pairs a downtown art market with a self-guided studio tour across the Chama Valley — vendors display work alongside live music, regional food vendors, and family activities. Studio Tour Bingo lets visitors collect stamps at artist studios to win festival merchandise. Strong draw for shoppers who actively seek out local makers and regional artists.
