Chomp & Stomp Chili Festival

About

Running since 2003, Chomp & Stomp is Atlanta's annual chili cookoff, 5K run, artist market, and bluegrass music festival, drawing around 30,000+ guests to historic Cabbagetown in November. The competition features 100+ chilis from amateur chefs and local restaurateurs, styles from mild to wild. The artist market spans four streets with 74 vendors selling macrame, jewelry, and home goods. All proceeds directly benefit the Cabbagetown Initiative, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to maintaining parks and green spaces in this National Landmark Historic District. Volunteer-run event with strong community backing.
