Christmas In Our Hometown

About

Held in Tunkhannock each December, Christmas in Our Hometown kicks off with a Santa Parade down Tioga Street and tree lighting, followed by wagon rides, vendor village, live entertainment, and dozens of churches, businesses, and civic groups distributing free treats. The historic district is decorated with over 60 fresh wreaths, red bows, and white lights. Vendor Village in the First National Bank parking lot features baked goods, crafts, dog treats, toys, and more alongside the Dietrich Theater's Cookie Walk, holiday workshop, and free movie programming.
