Running since 1974, Commonwheel Artists Labor Day Weekend Art Festival in Manitou Springs draws over 100 juried artists and food vendors to Memorial Park—potters, jewelers, painters, sculptors, photographers, glass artists, fiber artists, and specialty food vendors. It's the premiere art festival in the Pikes Peak Region. The festival features live music, a kids' art activity booth, and free prize drawings. A destination event for art patrons from Denver, Pueblo, and Colorado Springs regions. Free admission to patrons means strong foot traffic during end-of-summer holiday shopping season.
