Coon Dog Day Festival

About

Held in Saluda, Coon Dog Day is a beloved summer tradition featuring a vendor market alongside an AKC Registered Coon Hound Dog show, parade, live bluegrass and square dancing, firefighter agility contest, and "Every Dog's a Star" breed showcase. Vendors operate during the main festival hours while the day builds toward evening square dancing under the stars—small-town charm with strong foot traffic and community attendance.
