Core Sound Chow Down

Core Sound Chow Down kicks off Waterfowl Weekend on Harkers Island at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum and Heritage Center. Local cooks bring stewed shrimp, clam chowder, seafood chowder, cornbread, and more — judged by seafood chefs from across eastern NC. Vendors, artisans, and crafters set up for the weekend; attendees browse while eating. The museum grounds are lit with Christmas lights.
