Corn Palace Festival

About

The Corn Palace Festival celebrates the annual redecoration of the World's Only Corn Palace in Mitchell, held in August. One of South Dakota's longest running annual events, it features carnival rides, food and specialty vendors, along with the locals bringing in their best produce to be judged. The festival carries on the traditions of bringing in the best names in entertainment to headline the event. The festival is setup from 5th–9th street on Main street. The event does limit vending of similar items, so apply early.
