Dane County Farmers' Market

Madison, Wisconsin

About

America's largest producers-only farmers' market, held on the Capitol Square in downtown Madison. The Saturday market runs April to November, with a Wednesday location on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and winter locations indoors at Monona Terrace (November–December) and at the Garver Feed Mill in Monona (January–April). A pool of about 275 vendors sells agriculturally-related products from Wisconsin—farmers, food trucks, artists—featuring fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, meats, cheeses, nuts, and specialty products. Vendors are limited by production and harvest yields, so items may sell out before close. All items are grown, raised, and produced in Wisconsin by the person behind the stand.
