Community Farmers Markets operates four weekly Atlanta-area markets under strict acceptance criteria: all vendors must be direct producers of their own goods—farmers, bakers, makers—with no resellers or mass-produced items. Vegetables, fruits, eggs, honey, fresh baked goods, meat, dairy, and handmade arts & crafts using sustainable materials are welcome; overly processed foods, growth-hormone products, and franchise businesses are not. Vendors must carry all licenses and certifications in booth, process cards, and bring their own booth setup. The Decatur market runs Wednesday afternoons year-round. Expect rigorous screening, farm inspections for produce vendors, and a curated vendor mix built for long-term local food infrastructure.
