Depot Days

About

Running since 1992, Depot Days is held each September in Newbern and celebrates the city's railroad heritage centered around the Historic Depot—recognized by the Tennessee Historical Commission and on the National Register of Historical Places. The festival began as a community fundraiser for the depot's renovation and has grown into an annual month-long commemoration. Newbern is home to one of only two Amtrak stations in Tennessee, and the downtown triangle district offers a distinctive setting for vendors.
