Dickens of a Christmas

Held in early December in Wellsboro, Dickens of a Christmas is the 42nd annual Victorian holiday street market — Main Street and surrounding blocks close to traffic, transforming into an early marketplace filled with food vendors, craft artisans, strolling musicians, costumed performers, and street-corner theater. Local churches host luncheons and concerts throughout the day; Hamilton Gibson Productions stages "A Christmas Carol" at the Coolidge Theater.
