Down to Earth Rye brings small-scale farmers and food makers to downtown Rye every Sunday, April through November. Operating since 1991, Down to Earth Markets connects cooks and eaters to New York's local food producers. Vendors must produce products within about 150 miles of the market. Crafts and personal care products welcome if they meet food-maker standards for ingredient sourcing, quality, permitting, and business readiness. All prepared foods must use real ingredients and avoid artificial colors, flavors, stabilizers, and preservatives.
