Held in downtown Toms River on Washington Street, Downtown Toms River runs a packed annual calendar of street festivals drawing thousands of visitors — Irish Festival (March), Cinco de Mayo (May), Summer in the Street (July), Comfort Food Festival (September), Harvest Arts Festival (October), and Winter Wonderland (December), plus a year-round Wednesday farmers market and bi-monthly Cruising Downtown evening markets. Each festival features food, merchandise, handcraft vendors, live entertainment, a beer and wine garden, kid's activities, and downtown businesses open alongside.
