Duesey Days

About

Held in downtown Garner each July, Duesey Days is a signature summer celebration named for the Duesenberg brothers, who began in a local bicycle shop before becoming famous for luxury automobiles. The event features a large parade—one of North Iowa's largest—plus an antique car show that draws hundreds from Minnesota and South Dakota, live music and entertainment, craft and food vendors, and family activities. Central Park serves as the hub; parades and daytime activities anchor the weekend while evening entertainment takes place at nearby venues.
