Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival

Port Angeles, Washington

About

Held each October in downtown Port Angeles, Dungeness Crab Festival draws about 12,000 visitors annually — including roughly 4,000 who ferry across from Victoria, BC. The centerpiece is fresh-cooked Dungeness crab dinners (crab kept in live tanks on-site), but the festival also features 75+ artisan and resale vendors, free live music, free Coast Guard boat tours, a beer and wine garden, and local restaurants selling seafood. It's a rain-or-shine outdoor event; pack accordingly. Vendors report strong foot traffic and an established crowd hungry for both crab and local goods.
