Dushore Founders Day

Held each August in downtown Dushore, Founders Day is an annual celebration run by the local Lions Club. Around 25 to 30 vendors consisting of nonprofits and local artisans participate alongside craft and food vendors, live music, a pet parade, roll-a-keg races, and the famous outhouse races. Vendors show off arts and crafts with items such as candles, handmade goods, and t-shirts. The event draws a strong established crowd; thousands of people descend upon downtown Dushore for the day's mix of food, games, and quirky racing competitions.
