East Hollywood Certified Farmers Market

About

East Hollywood Certified Farmers' Market was created by Thai CDC to improve access to fresh affordable locally-grown fruits and vegetables and encourage healthy behavior among low-income and vulnerable populations in the underserved neighborhood of East Hollywood. Farmers can only sell produce they've personally grown. The market is open every Thursday from 3:30 to 7:30, except for rainy days and holidays, plus Mondays at the Hollywood/Western Metro station plaza. Founded in 2012 after Thai CDC received USDA Farmers Market Promotion Program funding.
