Eastport Pirate Festival

In downtown Eastport, the Eastport Pirate Festival runs each September the weekend after Labor Day and has become the biggest Pirate Festival in New England and the Maritimes. Now in its 20th year, the 501c3 non-profit hosts a mostly free event with great food and entertainment, crafts markets and street fanfare, a parade and fireworks drawing over 15,000 people. The festival welcomes food vendors, direct-sales products, and artisans. Vendor placement operates on a seniority basis; returning vendors get first choice of existing spots through June 15th. Food vendors must provide and maintain public trash receptacles. Smoking is prohibited within 100 feet of vendor areas. Cancellations after August 30th forfeit payment.
