Fair

Eddy County Fair

Artesia, New Mexico

About

Held each July in Artesia, Eddy County Fair started in 1945 as a junior livestock show and has grown into a regional fair mixing livestock exhibitions, home economics, gardens, carnival, and commercial vendors. Booth options range from 8×10 indoor spaces to trailers with electrical hookups. Saturday is mandatory — vendors leaving early forfeit their spot the following year. Food vendors must secure New Mexico health permits before setup; all vendors must be ready by 9am Tuesday or automatically lose their reserved booth with no refund.
