El Dorado Springs Annual Picnic

About

Held each July in downtown El Dorado Springs, the Annual Picnic celebrates the town's founding—a tradition running since 1882. The three-day event draws vendors selling food and other items, a full-size carnival, live entertainment (recent acts include Sammy Kershaw and the Ozark Mountain Daredevils), kids' games, and high school class reunions. The municipal band plays each evening. It's the largest social event of the year and brings the community together—many who've moved away plan vacations around it.
