Founded in 1978, Ellsworth Farmers' Market is one of the oldest in Maine. The market operates in the parking lot of the Union River Center for Innovation at Harbor Park on the city's waterfront. Vendors offer fresh vegetables, eggs, meat, dairy, baked goods, prepared foods, fiber arts, pottery and more. The market accepts new vendor applications on a rolling basis. Through a partnership with the Maine Federation of Farmers' Market and Healthy Acadia, vendors accept food stamps.
