The 90th Annual Erath 4th of July Celebration, running since 1936, is a free Cajun festival held downtown Erath around Independence Day. Expect carnival rides, fais do-do dancing with live Cajun music nightly, queens pageants, a parade, fireworks, and food vendors—outside food and drinks are not permitted on the fairgrounds. Strong community draw with a mix of family programming and nightlife.
