Held in Escalante along Scenic Byway 12 between Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks, Escalante Canyons Art Festival runs in mid-September and draws plein air painters, studio artists, and craftspeople to celebrate Utah's canyon country. The festival features competitions, on-site sales, an arts & crafts fair, live music, guided walks, workshops, and demonstrations. Strong draw for artists working in landscape and regional themes.
