Ethnic Enrichment Festival

About

Held each August at Swope Park in Kansas City, the Ethnic Enrichment Festival draws 39,000+ attendees for global cuisine, live music, dance, and a cultural marketplace. The EEC represents over 70 countries and has been running for nearly 50 years — this is an established, mission-driven event with serious foot traffic and a shoppers-looking-to-support-local ethos. Strong sustainability practices: the 2025 festival diverted over 11,000 lbs of waste from landfills.
