About
Held in Lowell during the Lowell Folk Festival in July, Experience Lowell Arts Market is a juried marketplace for Lowell-based artists, makers, and cultural organizations. The Folk Festival draws over 100,000 visitors across the weekend — the longest-running, second-largest free folk festival in the U.S. Eligible work includes fine arts, pottery, fiber art, jewelry, handmade clothing, locally made non-perishable foods, and artist-produced books. No commercial resale, imported goods, or apparel allowed. Expect foot traffic from festival-goers exploring six stages of traditional music, dance, and craft demonstrations across the city. You'll need your own tent and handle your own sales (portable payment capability recommended — no wifi on-site). Overnight secure storage available Saturday. Priority given to Lowell-based makers and 501(c)3 arts/cultural organizations.
