Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival

About

In its 44th year, Fairborn Sweet Corn Festival draws over 45,000 attendees to Community Park in Fairborn, Ohio, in mid-August. Expect roughly 130 handmade arts and crafts booths alongside food vendors — the lineup spans candles, wood items, jewelry, quilts, clothing, honey, salsa, plus the festival's namesake steamed corn, BBQ chicken, pork chop sandwiches, and fresh watermelon. Free parking and admission; pets welcome on leash. A corn-eating contest between City of Fairborn and Wright Patterson AFB happens Saturday at noon.
