About

Fayetteville Farmers Market, running since 1973 on the downtown square, enforces a strict 100% local rule — every product must be made or grown by you within Benton, Carroll, Madison, or Washington counties. No resale. Applications open December through February for the mid-March through December season. Accepts farms (fruit, vegetable, pasture-raised livestock with USDA processing), crafts (baskets, fiber, pottery, painters), limited food booths (locally produced only; sourdough not accepted for 2026), and personal care products (liability insurance required). New vendors sell weekdays and Saturdays as space allows; minimum three market days per year to stay eligible. Commission: 7.5% weekdays/Saturdays, 10% online and winter indoor market.
