Georgetown Farmers Market

About

Held in downtown Georgetown, Ontario, the Georgetown Farmers Market is a producer-only market running each Saturday in summer. Farm vendors get priority placement on Main Street; secondary farm, food, and craft vendors fill Church Street and the parking lot. Farmers must grow 70%+ of what they sell; all other vendors must produce 100%. Selection weighs seniority, proximity to Halton Hills, product type (farm primary vendors top the list), and uniqueness. Charity and BIA members get two free dates on a first-come basis. Main Street spots are premium; daily vendors pay per appearance. Runs May through October.
