Georgia Mountain Fair

Held in Hiawassee at the historic Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds, Georgia Mountain Fair is in its 76th year—a two-weekend mountain tradition (August 14–16 and August 20–22) featuring arts & crafts vendors, live music concerts, a parade, Pioneer Village heritage demonstrations, carnival rides, and exhibit halls. The fair draws visitors from across the region and offers strong foot traffic across both weekends. Arts & crafts vendors operate during fair hours on both weekend runs; the carnival runs daily August 13–22.
