German-American Festival

Oregon, Ohio

About

Held in August in Oregon, the German-American Festival is Northwest Ohio's oldest and largest ethnic festival, now in its 60th year. Expect authentic German and Swiss food, imported beer, live folk music and dancing across multiple stages, plus traditional contests — stein-lifting (Masskrugstemmen), stone throwing (Steintossen), and a beer mile. The festival draws a established crowd of culture-focused attendees and supports German-American heritage programs throughout the Toledo area. Strong foot traffic, three-day run, and a vendor mix that spans food, beverage, and cultural programming.
