World-famous three-day garlic food festival at the Hecker Pass Outdoor Events Center adjacent to Gilroy Gardens, run by the volunteer Gilroy Garlic Festival Association since 1979 and returned in 2025 after a six-year hiatus. 100+ vendors are accepted, with preference for hand crafted items. Gourmet Alley, culinary competitions, live entertainment and a curated Arts & Crafts area.
