Girdwood Forest Fair

Girdwood, Alaska

About

Running since 1975, Girdwood Forest Fair is a juried craft fair features 200+ vendors showcasing hundreds of handmade Alaskan art and artisan products. All work must be hand-crafted by the artist — no pre-manufactured, screen-printed, or mass-produced items. Printed art prints, photo prints, and stickers are allowed; printed apparel (t-shirts, hoodies, drinkware) is not. Hand-dyed or handmade clothing is accepted after application review. The fair is free to the public and set in a forest environment — expect uneven terrain, roots, and no electrical access. Booth locations may be ¼ mile off the main trail; the committee does not place similar vendors adjacent to one another. NOTE: This is bear country—Several bears live near the Forest Fair and will be attracted by food and garbage. ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD is allowed to be left unattended in booths after Fair hours.
