Great Basin Scottish Highland Games

About

Held in Virginia City, the Great Basin Scottish Highland Games celebrates Scottish Highland heritage through heavy athletics, crafts, food, and community. The event has grown significantly — from 550 attendees in year one to over 2,000 expected this year. Vendor mix includes artisans, local farms, food trucks, and retail vendors. Organizers have reduced vendor fees to make participation more accessible.
