Greater Youngstown Italian Fest

About

Held in downtown Youngstown and hosted by the Italian Heritage Foundation of Youngstown, Inc., the Greater Youngstown Italian Fest is an annual event running its 39th year in late July–early August. The three-day fest attracts more than 50,000 visitors annually — expect more than 30 food vendors and more than two dozen retail vendors, with a mix of Italian restaurants and craft booths. All vendor spaces must be decorated with Italian-themed items, and organizers encourage staff to wear Italian colored or themed clothing. Proceeds fund scholarships to local students and support charities including the Second Harvest Food Bank and Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley.
